  • CABLEready Sends MEDICAL DETECTIVES to Lifetime

    Connecticut-based distributor CABLEready has licensed three series from its catalog to assorted U.S. cable nets. Lifetime secured the television rights to 100 episodes of Medical Detectives, a Medstar series which aired on TLC. The half-hour show, a sibling series to Forensic Files, follows coroners, medical examiners, physicians, law enforcement officials, journalists and legal experts as they assemble evidence to understand a crime.     International television program distribution and development company, CABLEready made new series licensing deals in the US with a handful of cable networks: Lifetime picked up 100 half-hour episodes of Medical Detectives produced by Medstar. A Cook’s Tour with 25 half-hour episodes was acquired by Cooking Channel. The series is produced by The New York Times Company.
