US distributor CABLEready and Australian network Foxtel gathered at MIPCOM to celebrate the talent and philanthropy of the late Hollywood legend Paul Newman.

Foxtel is among the TV networks wanting to acquire the premiere episode of INSIDE THE ACTORS STUDIO, which is being re-released for the first time since 2001 via CABLEready. It features a rare interview with the Oscar-winning actor who shares his invaluable expertise in the craft of acting.

In keeping with Newman’s involvement in various charity causes, CABLEready will donate 25% of the international sales’ proceeds to The Hole In The Wall Gang Camp, a chain of holiday camps that Newman co-founded and designed to entertain children with serious illnesses.

Among the other networks to purchase the Paul Newman epidose are the UK’s Sky, France’s Paris Premiere, Sweden’s Kanal5, Poland’s Ale Kino and Japan’s NHK.
