CABLEready returns to Latin America

Independent US distributor CABLEready has inked more licensing agreements and closed further sales in Latin America following last week’s announcement of several deals in the region.

TNT Latin America has picked up pre-sale rights to STUNT STARS (10×60′), a behind-the-scenes look at the work of the entertainment industry’s stunt performers, which is currently in production. The network also recently renewed CABLEready ’s Hollywood on Hollywood.

Argentina-based Hispanic channel Infinito has signed for WORLD OF WEALTH (11×60′), described as “the only series focused on the philosophy of money and affluence,” and spiritual discovery series KARMA TREKKERS (10×60′). These add to Infinito’s other recent CABLEready acquisitions, Searching for the Roots of 9/11 and Straddling the Fence.

Finally, Discovery Latin America renewed gritty real-life medical series MATERNITY WARD (49×60′).

CABLEready’s VP of sales and marketing Sabrina Toledo said: “These deals further extend the long-standing presence of CABLEready in the Latin American television marketplace.”
