CABLEready bringing HD to NATPE
US factual distribution company CABLEready will offer three new high-definition reality series to international buyers at NATPE 2008.
STUNT STARS (10×60′), from Canada’s CMJ Productions, delves into the dangerous world of professional stunt men and women working in TV and movies. The first episode covers stunt artists on the series The 4400.
Burrud Productions’ WOMEN BEHIND BARS (12×60′) meets women who have been found guilty of murder and explores the forces that compelled them to commit their crimes.
Finally, the 13×30′ series A GUY’S GUIDE TO LIVIN’ (Explosive Shorts) follows adventurer Brian Spencer as he pursues happiness through natural beauty and physical challenges around the world.
“Every few months, our programme inventory increases to meet the needs of our buyers all over the world, and that includes fully produced and immediately available HD programming,” said CABLEready ’s president and CEO Gary Lico.
CABLEready has picked up distribution rights to TV Guide Network’s entertainment magazine show HOLLYWOOD 411, the first 200×30′ series of which will also be on offer at NATPE, alongside new series of Making News (TV Guide Network), INSIDE THE ACTOR’S STUDIO (In the Moment Productions and Bravo TV), FORENSIC FILES (Medstart Television and Court TV) and DOMINICK DUNNE’S POWER, Privilege and Justice (Court TV), all of which are in production and available for pre-buys.
