New York City’s Coqui Zen Entertainment has signed up US distributor and developer CABLEready as its exclusive international distributor.

The new partnership kicks off with new series Gay No More?, an investigative documentary currently in development that follows the journeys of homosexuals seeking to switch their sexual orientation, featuring the bizarre and controversial world of ex-gay ministries and reparative therapy programmes.

Coqui Zen’s past productions include MTV Juvies, A&E’s Washington Wives and MSNBC’s Kids in Crisis.

“We anticipate that Gay No More? will receive a huge response at and around MIPTV; it’s a subject from the now mainstream topic of homosexuality that, until now, has been virtually unexplored on TV,” said Gary Lico, president and CEO of CABLEready.
